This week crayons are .25, markers $1 bic pens are .50-.79 depending on region. (.79 here in southeast, the crystal pens) If you still have the $1/2 insert q from sept. 09 that helps.

the before kroger plus card amount is counting but you must buy more than the school supplies to get the cat to print. It prints after total is hit.

Someone on AFC bought only the crayons and it didn't print, second transaction crayons plus other stuff and it worked. I guess the register only knows you didn't spend $20 if you buy only the school supplies.

I bought 4 bic black pens, 1 10ct. crayola marker, 7 boxes crayola crayons .25 24 ct and got $4 back. HTH My store was almost out of markers already.

I bought only the crayons yesterday (9 boxes) and got a $4 cat. My store was totally sold out of the markers :(

Apparently it's working or not with the crayons depending on where you are and how your store put in the discount. If the store did a manual override to .25 it won't work and if your store did a with your card discount so full price - plus card discount to make it .25 it works fine.

Way to keep us on our toes LOL.

I did 10 of the .25 crayons reg $2.19 and got a $4 cat. also 1 maker and 3 crayons for a $2 cat, rolling with no problem. I'm in MS.

could someone clearify this insert for me ... what coupon am i looking for and what insert was it in... i dont have a sept 9 as sept 9 was like a THURSDAY???

I look in all my sept 13 '09s and i dont see anything about any pens.. can someone help?

This Cat. is for almost all of the items in the BTS and stationary section. There were some 3000 upc's attached to this Cat. so it maybe hit or miss. I just tried 4 note books, reg. 1.55 and 2 packs of pens reg. 2.19 and it did not work. The note books are on special for .15 and the pens were a 3/$1.00 deal so the total was only $1.27 so the Cat would have been a great MM.

According to the database, there was a $1/2 bic stationery products in the 8/9/09 SS. So, last August. I know I don't have any inserts left from last year, so I can't verify.

Sorry about that. I thought it was August. I cut them out last year and have been holding them for a good sale so I was a bit off where they came from. I meant sept. '09 but it was August anyway. Oops!

Last night at Great Lakes Kroger I bout 9 notebooks @ .15 each and one Papermate Pens @ .33 each. The before sale total was over $10 and I did not get the $2 CAT.
