I signed up just to ask a question, so I hope someone knows! Is there a computer limit to the number of cats that print for this deal? I got one a week or so ago using a Q from my newspaper and then went on ebay and bought a lot of 20 more. Bought 20 more today and after I got to the car I realized only 18 catalinas printed out? 19 seems like a really odd limit to set so I am wondering if maybe the printer ran out of paper. I was using a self checkout, because in between wrangling my 2 year old and trying to find the right coupons and make sure everything prices correctly I know I'd drive a cashier crazy. :) Is it going to look fishy if I return those 2 yeast packets? They cost me 1.40 (I used two .40/1 coupons) and I was anticipating 2 .50 catalinas (which double here) from them that I didn't receive, so really I am out 3.40 for two packets of yeast that I don't need.
What do you think?  | I'd straight out tell them you had a Cat coming that didn't print. I've had two different responses doing this. Once, the SDesk scanned the items as if a new sale, the Cat printed. They handed over the Cat along with my items and I was free to go. They voided the *trial* transaction.
The second time, the Sdesk person told me they couldn't do anything about it because the Catalina program is separate from the store. I said, Okay, but you can give me a refund though. That's what she did. Either way works for me.
I don't see why they'd mind making either an adjustment or a refund. The Catalina program is something the store supports...Afterall, they do have the machines at their registers. They generate sales. hee. |
