Default Is shopping @ Kroger worth the drive?

The nearest Kroger to me is Russellville, AR, roughly 75 miles one way.
I usually grocery shop every two weeks. I'm wondering if Kroger is worth driving that distance maybe once a month with my coupons.

Locally we have 2 stores that will double. Harps will double up to 60cents, limit 2 like Qs and you cannot use a store Q with a mfg Q. And my most recent trip to Harps the cashier literally read every word on the coupon before she would scan it. They will also ad match the CV's Family Foods ad.
CV's Family Food will double up to 50cents, limit 2 like Qs, and they will not double if the item is in the sale ad. And to my knowledge they do not ad match. (Not even worth shopping there IMO).

Right now I usually ad match at walmart and use my Qs there, unless I happen to be close to the other one and it's a really good deal (ie. recent deal-- Spaghettios on sale 68cents - .40/2 doubled = .28 each).

So do you think I would save enough to justify a drive like that?

For me it is. I am in Alabama and drive for the megas a few times a year. It's a 1.5 drive each way for us. Several of us will car pool for the deals.
We plan on driving in November if the ad is good.

Found out the hard way each kroger has different rules. We drive right on past the 4 like coupon store and go the other 5 stores that are no rules.
As of July they were no rules.

I usually do a once a month trip (obviously depending on the deals and current gas prices) to Little Rock to shop Kroger & Target, which is a 60 mile drive.

I'm in the Delta region and the coupon policy at the stores I shop allows 8 like coupons per transaction and doubling up to $.60 for 8 like coupons, not including IP's which are limited to a value of $1 or less and one like IP per transaction. I would check the policy of the Russellville store to make sure their policy is reasonable and multiple transactions are allowed. I would hate to drive 75 miles to only be allowed one transaction with just a handful of coupons.

I love the carpooling suggestion, it's more fun to shop with a buddy and you'll save gas money too. :)
