It is awesome to see $2.XX or even $1.XX (depending on how much you go out...I'm betting McDonalds is included...although I have to check) . I've been lucky enough to see $1.XX with the last round b/c the price of gas dropped to something like $2.98 and I had 1,000 points. I told DH it wanted to just stand there and stare at the price b/c it had been SO long since I had seen $1.XX for gas.
