I imagine it will only be a matter of time before it hits our area here. We are still getting triples up to 50 cents. It's only a matter of time. Thanks TLC...thanks a lot. :p
Kroger Rolls Out Change To Coupon Policy - Project Economy News Story - WLWT Cincinnati
here's an article. This does not appear to be good news.
Always ISO Coke 12 pack and 2-liter coupons

I really, really wish Kroger would adopt a flat out corporate wide coupon policy.
In our Raleigh NC area, we have apparently managers who have the authority to do as they please (as I note in the policy posted here, it can be at the whim of a store manager what will/will not be accepted and quantities etc).
One store will allow multiple "like" coupons - although they can't tell me a number, but I've redeemed as many as 6 identical coupons in one pass without a problem.
They only double up to 50 cents, anything over 50 is at face value.
But one of the two stores, which are about 10 miles apart, only accepts 2 "like" coupons per transaction.
Very hard to instill customer loyalty when policies are so fluid and apt to change on the whim of one person.![]()
Coupons are found money - who walks by money on the ground??
Saving money ~ it's a way of life, not an attitude
my store has been doing that for a while!!!
IVDSO:
Libby vegetables $1/4, free Dr pepper q's....
I wonder if you do a special order for an item...if they will let you use multiple coupons on that special order.
If not, this means I will be changing my shopping habits...more trips, or buying versions I don't like to be exchanged later for the versions I do like, or going to Walmart for a price match.
I ask because the line in the policy says:
"~ We reserve the right to limit no more than five (5) paper manufacturer coupons for the same product, each coupon value considered (1) coupon in the same transaction"
Taken on face value of the statement, "reserve the right" does not mean 100 percent no on using more than 5...what do you all think?
ISO Stonyfield 32 oz yogurt; V8 Fusion juice; Nature's Path Oatmeal; & Paul Newman products coupons.
I speak with the mgmt of my store at least 3 days a week. I also help order and they said at their training meeting a few days ago, they were told by upper mgmt that it was the store directors discretion on when to impose the limit. He was told that if someone came in and wanted to use "hundreds" of one coupon then he has the "authority" to impose a limit.
Now, this is for my store personally. I had asked him what we(over 5000 couponers in my town) needed to do because we pre-pay for our quantities so we don't "shelf clear". He said he would waive the policy unless it got out of hand.
The reason I asked is that our local food bank also excludively purchases from Smith's and they have used coupons for the last year, so this policy affects them as well.
