Hey there Kroger (Cincinnati) Shoppers!

As you know, the Kroger (Cincinnati) forum still needs a mod. Therefore, now is an especially great time to post if you have just been lurking here. We want to hear from you! Please share your deals with us--at times there are good deals in the weekly ad, but many times there are GREAT deals to be had on regular priced items that can be combined with awesome coupons!

Please, let's post everything we find so that all can also benefit. While I primarily focus on the stores I mod, I will be on the lookout for contests and specials that I can find on the web and share with all of you.
To those who have been posting thank you. Your efforts are very appreciated by all who visit the Kroger (Cincinnati) forum.

Finally, if you find great tearpads, peelies, coupon booklets and the like at your store, let us know so that all can be on the lookout in their own stores.

pasharain, is there anything I can do to help clean up this forum? There are a lot of dead threads that need to be removed or archived. It is getting hard at times to see new posts because there is so much old stuff here. I know it's because we haven't had a mod (wish I could do it, but dh says no), but if I can help with forum cleanup anyway, let me know.

Hey Emily...basically if you go through each thread and know that it is a "dead" thread. Report it and a super mod will be able to come over and switch the thread over (I mean all threads stickies included...a super will make the final call). Nothing will be deleted it will just be marked dead deal.

Another thing you can do is make sure you bump all active posts to the top. So if you know that there is a post that's ten down but should still be being used...bump it.

Finally and really the most important is...try to post. That's the killer thing. The forum is so slow that we aren't able to attract enough attention for a person to want to jump on as a mod. A person wants a fun space. Given how slow kroger is...it is hard to get excited. But I was thinking that I always find something. For example...this week was a decent price on strawberries and blueberries (for me I am just not a fan of meijer produce...I either go to kroger or country fresh). So I think I am going to start a thread each week and see if I can get people to name at least one item they know they are getting from kroger this week thread (and if it is a sale item...whats the sale and possibly coupon options?). I don't know??? Just thinkin out loud here (we can do more when we get together )

Anyway that's what you can do as a non-kroger mod or super mod to keep our kroger forum a bit cleaner...did that make any sense?? Probably not...I think I just repeated ashley's post

I think the biggest reason the Kroger thread is so dead is that there have been no good sales to speak of. Just an item or two a week that usually isn't a fantastic deal. Then all the coupon policy changes that have been going on in other regions, seems kroger has lost alot of love. The forum will pick up when they have another really good sale.
