kroger question great lakes area

I asked a few days ago in the great lakes area but it's been quiet on there. I know the sales are similar by area so maybe someone in this area can ansewr my questions.
I 'm new to shopping at kroger and was curious if anyone can tell me how often kroger has the mega events? Is this just once a year or do they have really good deals with coupon match ups more often? Until the last 2 weeks I didn't think kroger had that many good deals to shop there. Any info on how much you shop kroger and when there great sales are would be appreciated!

In the past year the mega sales have been coming roughly every 3 months. There are always awesome deals to be had with the mega deals. Other than mega deals I like Kroger for the catalina OYNO deals. Through them I usually stay stocked up on biscuits, butter and cereal for nothing or very little out of pocket. Just read through the threads and the ad, there is always something worth going to kroger for.
