I hear you on the CVS hassle, but that is a whole nother' thread LOL !!! I will say though, that once I got my stockpile built up it is easier to wags and cvs with all the crazy limits and all of there running out b/c I just need a cpl here and there to maintain my quantity. It is just so much harder with food. I know that limits would be a major pain in the butt but (LOL) I kinda wonder if that might be a good thing for those of us who coupon for our families. Many of us limit ourselves anyway and make multiple trips, so that would really cut back on the gorging. I prob. won't be popular for saying that though. LOL That is ok. Just kinda thinking out loud. I just want it to be fair for all of us to get the things we want. ya know??

I will say, b/c in my opinion those that are doing this prob aren't getting all of these deals on their own, which means they are reading this and other boards to get the inside scoop. So for those of you who don't post and raid the shelves like crazy people:

if you coupon in moderation and get deals on HBA and household items, too, you will save more money and be able to stretch your grocery dollars much better than buying 100 bags of tuna. Read the stockpiling threads and SLOWLY, with low cost and OOP build your stash and your grocery bill will decrease while you eat more and better and have more food/HBA etc than you ever have. If you are not careful, many of these deals will go away. THere is a way to do this to better yourself in the long run, not just for the next week or two.

yea but they never restock crap. I figured i have enough on GC's i should be set if i wanna start back up again. But even in areas that NO couponers exsisted 6months-1 year ago... it's just over flowing with them. It's the sign of the times folks. It was fun being able to shop whenever. Now if your not there first thing in the morning first day of the sale, your in trouble :(

Manders, that is why I LOVE MY WAGS!!!!!!!! Yeah you will definetly still have probs of finding items "free" after Qs and Register Rewards but it will build my stockpile WAYYYYY quicker than CVS ever did!

I agree with the limits. I'd say if its a mega sale like this, 8 or 16 of each item should be the limit. I hate that I almost have to go at midnight to get some things (like tuna for my kids to eat) when I see another lady in town who clears shelves, then has a huge garage sale in the summer. Just my 2 cents!
But seriously, thanks to all the help and input from this board. I was able to get tuna for my kids, sour cream & crackers for fund raiser dinner appetizers, salad dressing for church dinner and much more. I appreciate everyone's sharing of deals!

just a quick heads up...if you shop at the finneytown kroger on winton road.

I went a little while ago...they had 25 packages of tuna left. I bought 12 of them. I didn't want to clean them out. The manager told me they will be restocked tomorrow night. But they were wonderful and gave me a rain check at the mega price even though they had a little stock left since I wasn't clearing out their shelves. So, that was nice. My scenario was with purchasing 16 tunas...oh well. At least I have the rain check!!

just wanted to save someone a trip to the store...not worth going there for the potential that the remaining 13 are still there...make sense?
