Re: Not Accepting Printables Update: I got an email response--4 weeks later--stating the following:
"Thank you for contacting The Kroger Company, I apologize for the delay
in response. As for your concerns with the printed coupons not being
accepted, I do apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you and
I have sent it along to upper management for review. This being said,
I do have to stress that our store management has to right to accept
limit or decline the use of any coupon, this is a judgment call and we
stand behind there decisions simply because coupon fraud is at a very
high rate. I apologize for any issues this may cause. For the
inconvenience, if you supply me with your Kroger card I will add a $10
credit to the account that will deduct at your next purchase. Thanks
again."
So, I took the $10 on my card and that was the last time I've shopped at Kroger. I understand manager judgment and accept that but if you have a store policy, it needs to be posted. A friend of mine went to the same store I had this issue recently and said they were not letting her use cut out coupons from circulars.
I've discovered Bigg's and not only do they ACCEPT printables no questions asked, but they GIVE me coupons. Win/win! Hope you all have better luck than I did!
P.S. An email about a similer issue I had at Spring Grove hasn't been responded to in over a month and a half and I waited three weeks before giving up on the district manager calling me back. |
