One Per Puchase?

I went to use multiple coupons the other day and they beeped the cashier said that I could only use one because it read "One Per Purchase" I was nursing my son and was already feeling like they wanted me out of the store ASAP and I just took my Qs back.

I always thought that if you *purchase* more then one, you can use more then one coupon. It seems like I have problems with coupons about 50% of the time at this store, I need to grow a pair and say something. I hate arguing, I wish they would just learn the rules!

You are correct. Each item per coupon is a purchase; you make several purchases oin a transaction. If it said one per transaction, she would be correct.

I'm sorry you had this experience with your little one in tow!! I know that can be stressful.

I had a cashier the other night ask the manager if it was okay for me to use a bunch of coupons (I had 12 and 12 items)--the manager said it was okay. I think they are nervous about messing up. Maybe they heard about some coupon fraud at another store. If we are patient, maybe this will blow over. Next time, if you can spare the time, ask a manager over and see if you can resolve it.
