if you have a coupon that says do not double, can the store refuse to double it, not even scan it but hand key it in??anyone ever had this happen??

absolutley- If the coupons says DND it shouldnt be doubled- if it does double just consider yourself lucky

Yes, they can refuse to scan or take a coupon. Most of the time the cashiers do scan a coupon. Blinkies in our area say DND and they won't double. Some coupons may say DND but start with a 5 and double anyway, and some may not say DND but they start with a 9 and will not double. Like the dial coupons. They will not double.

A lot depends on the cashier and if they want to make the time to key it in or if they even know how to key it in. Usually the cashier won't mess with it unless it beeps or they cannot scan it.
If you are familiar with your store, you will get to know which cashiers to avoid. There are a couple at my neighborhood store that I avoid. One of them has no clue how to key in a coupon and has to be watched like a hawk because he skips coupons, the other one scrutinizes each coupon and takes forever.

This is such a newbie question -- I am learning so much here!

If I get a Catalina coupon from Kroger --for example-- on Nature's Bounty, can I also use a Sunday insert coupon for Nature's Bounty with it too?

I learned I can stack coupons at CVS--the scanner coupons with manufacturer coupons; wondering if there is this benefit at Kroger! TIA.

No, because the catalina q is a manufacturer coupon. Now if it was a coupon that said $x off your next order, u could use both
