Kroger Everyday Price Check and Clearance Thread

i think it would be nice if we created spreadsheet of all the everyday prices so you can take a quick look.

this may or may not be a help to some, but i've created my own spreadsheet to compare kroger to other stores so i know where i should go for certain things. note that everything is the cheapest/store brand unless otherwise listed. i don't have meijer prices yet b/c every time i'm there i forget to bring the darn thing with me.

p.s. since prices vary slightly, this is the bellevue kroger and the ft. wright walmart

am I putting this in the right spot?
I did fall over the gravy deals this week and did a stock up on the brands listed above. I also ran into a peel off pad in the cherry grove kroger last week near the uscan machines for 1.00 off nabisco crackers and kraft cheese. THen I found another one at the forest hills kroger in an odd spot I think on an side endcap(wire rack basically next to an end cap) near the cracker section. I was glad to see peelies and more coupons hanging this week at Kroger.

I just came from the Mt Carmel Kroger and found some great deals on medications - cold and flu types. Got Robitussen marked down to $1.49 and had .50 coupon = me paying .50!!! Can't get it any cheaper!!!!

They had many more there - lots of Airborne... think everything was 75% off original price. All are still very far from expiring. Mine expires in 2010.

I hit my Kroger on the west side a little bit after midnight and it was GDs everywhere...

I found peelies like Crazy
- there were fresh 1/1 on the whole grain pop-tarts
- $3/3 any GM cereal on a couple varities of Chex
- $1/1 softsoap 32oz or larger, on the big refill bottles (these do expire 2/1/09 though)
- $1/2 any 19-24oz green giant bags on bags in the freezer section
- $1/marshmellows on Rice Krispies
- $1 wyb one Crispix 12oz+ AND one Cheez-it 7.5oz+
- a hang-tag half-propped against a Kroger brand window cleaner, not positive that's where it acually came from though - it has:
- .75/1 any old english
- $1/1 any easy-off, stainless steel or glass top
- .75/1 any lime-a-way
- .75/1 easy-off, heavy duty or fume free
- $1/1 any mop & glo

There also seemed to be blinkies everywhere, but I suppose that could have been my peelie-induced haze...

Melon-something Suave conditioner clearanced to .77 - .22 each with .50/2 MQ

Still a lot of various shampoo clearance, but nothing that jumped out at me..

And, last but not least...
Sally Hansen nail polish in boxes, packaged with a "gift", of small cuticle cream, there was diamond strength, diamond shine, a whitener, and maybe one or two other varieites - all originally 12.95, now $1.

I picked up a Weslo Momentum 360 elliptical for $125 today at Kenwood (got the last one, someone got the other one before I got there). they retail for twice that at Target!

That was Delhi - I haven't seen pop-tart peelies there but twice - but - biggs on Delhi Pike had them w/in the last week or so, I haven't been to the Crookshank biggs, but they might be worth a shot too - GL :)

Smithville Rd. and Beavercreek had ronzoni smart taste elbows and barrilla piccolini farafalle and penne on closeout for 1.32. with q's makes them .32, not too bad!
