Interesting. according to HIM it's ok to use your cash but not the cash you paid krogers to put it on a plastic card. thats just stupid.

i don't care either way, i never buy giftcards. But i don't want anyone getting into trouble for doing this ya know? I won't be getting a stimulus check so i dunno. I will find out though.

I've been buying gift cards with gift cards for 2 years now...at 4 different stores. I've never had any issue whatsoever.

NO WHERE on the normal kroger gift card does it exclude the purchase of gift cards. and who is to stop you from using your stimulus gift card to purchase more KROGER gift cards (that you could then use to buy others).

this will seriously seriously cut into my ability to buy gymboree for my kids (since I use payment from the discovery center to do it). sometimes we don't need answers to stuff.

I see it as no different than finding out that trial sizes are free after coupon. coupon doesn't exclude them so yay right? would you call to double check that it was ok? no. its a ymmv type of thing and a call would ruin it. if you find a store that lets you do a bogo on a bogo, I won't call your store and double check about your ability to do so.

I am not trying to ruin anyones parade. But, you have to look at it from a site stand point. I can't have everyone talking about something on here if indeed it is not allowed. Trust me i would NEVER try to ruin deals for you guys but i have to make sure everything is legit.

My guess is this manager is just a an*lly challenged. I won't drop names or stay store names. It isnt even like that. Just need a answer is all.

I guess my point is its not against the rules as stated on the gift cards. its just something they may not have thought of that once its brought to thier attention...they might.

like rolling RR's at walgreens. unless it says you can't, you can. and if enough of us TELL them...they might stop it.

its not against the rules (generally). maybe against this particular guys rules but it has zero to do with the site in my opinion.
