Anderson doesn't have Kroger's? Weird. The smaller towns around do...New Castle, Greenfield, etc.

I'm from Central Illinois and shop at the Crawfordsville, IN store. It is the closest store to me. So I only make the drive when they are having some good sales and it makes it worth it. I sure wish we would get a Krogers in my city.

Just thought I would say HI to lawnjock. Are you on the North or South end? And are you the one snatching up all the really good deals before I get there? LOL

And to answer aimeebee-- all of the Payless grocery stores were once owned by the Contos family and they sold out to Kroger a few years ago... all the stores stayed "Payless" but sell Kroger brand items. Payless is non-union, so maybe that is why they kept the old name... to differentiate. Anyway, HELLO! to our southern neighbor.

Hey..I'm from Indy..I have 3 Krogers all..that are w/i 5 miles I guess. They are all over the city if I get desperate.
