I know that Kroger's e-coupon policy can be confusing, and they really don't make it very easy for us to clarify the rules.
But from here on out (1/12/11), please DO NOT post any deals in this forum that involve combining an e-coupon (Shortcuts, Cellfire or otherwise) AND a paper manufacturer's coupon on the purchase of one item.
I know, I know. Some stores let you do it anyway.
But it's very much a YMMV situation. And, on top of that and more importantly, it is HCW's policy not to allow posts about using coupons in a fraudulent way or in a way that breaks the store policies. And as both e-coupons and paper coupons are technically manufacturer's coupons, that would clearly go against the general "one manufacturer's coupon per item purchased" rule that most stores go by.
I hope you understand the reason for this policy. Should Kroger ever issue an official position on this in writing, I will update this post. I won't be issuing warnings or infractions for posts that were made prior to this announcement because that wouldn't be fair. | |
