I get the Kroger add every Tuesday by mail and it runs Wed-Tues, I do not believe it is all inclusive of everything that is actually on sale in the store, am I right? And if so, how in the world can you find out what all IS on sale? I get there and go, Oh, that's on sale, too?

I've looked all over the Kroger website, even tried looking up current prices on certain items so I can compare them to WAGS, WM, Target, etc...but no luck!!

Yes, you are 100% correct: The ads do not include everything that is on sale in the store. What it does seem to promote are those items with some of the deepest discounts. I have been told by some people, including store managers, that companies pay for the space in the weekly ads. This draws people into the stores to buy their products. My suggestion is to bring your binder/box/etc with you so that you never miss a great deal in store or in the clearance aisle.

You may want to check out the various pricebooks available on HCW. They are pretty accurate for regular prices on items.

you really have to look around. another good way is to learn what other areas ads are before us (atlanta ga starts sunday before our central ad on thursday)....check out their forum too and see what they are reporting.

you will find that most stores do not list everything on sale. there are tons of other unadvertised items that you actually have to look around for
