Kroger (Central) ~ Question: is Central still alive??

Is this forum still alive? or are we all so busy doing matchups for the P&G and Kelloggs sale that we have not time for HCW.....

Yep, we're here! Or I am at least!

Most of my HCW time is spent just reading, because I can do that while at work, but I wouldn't feel right about doing much posting on "work time".

I also read the other Kroger forums, since they get the ads before it cycles down to the Central region so I can get some planning & organizing done ahead of time.

But never fear, if you have a question about something, post it! We're always checking the forum and eager to help. :)

we are all still here. kroger kind of died for me when they started to limit the number of like coupons. i still go there if it is really good....i think the next mega sale that starts next week is going to be decent and i plan on going to it. i cant remember off the top of my head what it was for, but it looked decent.

i am hooked on schnucks.

I haven't done much with Kroger for a few weeks,
with holidays and all
and really only shop when I can get things for free or nearly free.

So let's hope for some good stuff coming up!!

You can view "our" ad on Tuesdays by searching the Sturgis, Michigan ad.
(It's the same as ours but comes out a few days earlier)

the nice thing with kroger, is we can look at atlanta, ga as they start sunday before we do. look at their ad and get a feel for it...i know there is a mega coming up ...nothing too fabulous in this mega...hoping for a good daytona though

OK, I can't seem to start a new thread today so I'm just adding it to this one! If a mod wants to move it later, please do so.

DiGiorno pizza is 4.49 if you buy it as part of the Mega Event this week where you buy 10 items and get $5 off. There were peelies on the pizza as well as a tearpad on the freezer door for $3 off 2 Rising Crust DiGiorno pizzas. That makes the pizza 2.99! That's the lowest price I've seen in a loooong time for the full size pizza.

I went to Meijer first and they had the peelies too. Meijer's price was 5.00. I was planning on getting them at Kroger as part of the Mega deal with $1/2 Q's that I had but when I saw the peelies, I figured they would be 3.50 at Meijer with the peelie and 4.00 at Kroger with the Mega deal and my existing Q's (I won't take peelies off something I'm not buying) so I got 4 pizzas at Meijer. I then went to Kroger and they had them too plus the tearpad. I ended up with 4 more (bought Mom's cereal to round out my Mega). I was tempted to get more but I'm glad I didn't because 8 pizzas barely fit in my freezer.

What we allow you to do is post the complete match ups or a complete deal & give credit to your blog at the end of your post...assuming it's a blog. If it's a competing site, we wouldn't allow it. If you're unsure, pm me. I'm also pm'ing you this info, but thought others may benefit from your question too.

Basically, a complete deal would include all info needed for a member to do the deal & no need to go to another site to get the rest of the info.

However, any affiliate links for IP coupons, magazine subs, referrals to deals such as Groupon, etc.. would not be allowed to be posted here. They would all need to be removed prior to posting. You can insert just basic links to coupons.com, etc. in their place.

Furthermore, if you're interested in having your blog put in your siggy, you may do so by going here & following the instructions. Upon receiving approval, you may add it to your siggy.

I am sending you some other info via PM as well...
