Went to Kroger today to buy some D batteries for my husband's flashlight. A 2 pack of D batteries normally cost $5.97. They had a display of the batteries with a sign saying "The joy of giving" The batteries in this display were $1.98 for a package of batteries. They had several sizes of batteries including the 2pack of D batteries that I was looking for. There is a .75/1 insert coupon out there for these, as well, bringing the price down to $1.23 for a package of batteries. A good time to stock up on batteries needed for Christmas while the price is low!

I purchased 5 packages and used the .75 coupons. The catalina for $3.00 popped out.

I believe the regular price is being used toward the required $20 (or $15 not sure which) amount.
