I did the mega deal tonight.

Bottom of my receipt says "Savings: 94%"

Here's what I got--
25 vitamin waters (used 25 .50/1 coupons)
6 HandiFoil Eco Friendly (used 2 $1/3 coupons from blinkie)
2 boxes Quaker Chewy Granola Bars
6 gatorades
1 chocolate pudding 4pk for me

Total at first was 50 or $60 something. Then the cashier watched the mega deal take off $20. He said "Your total is $3X.--" THEN I gave him my 27 coupons and at the end he was like, "uh. your total is $4.53"

LOL.

I'm so excited, NEVER had a shopping trip this good. DH and DS love the waters so we will be set for awhile.

--note, I did not clear the shelves. I didn't even make a DENT in what my kroger had in stock as far as vit. waters. They must have known it'd be huge because they had loads of them--

There is always mega stock on vitamin waters! At cvs we had them all over the place! The coke guy would come in and take out of dates out but restock it with more and more! saving over 90% is awesome! Thats when i wanna rush home and tell someone! i wish i had a kroger near me. We used to like 6 yrs ago. but not anymore that and bi lo went away :(

I am assuming you actually bought 6 of the foils, the coupon states $1/3, if you used 2, then you should have bought 6. :)

^^yeah you are right, I bought 6.
The excitement of my good deal clogged my brain from doing basic math correctly. lol

I got 5 of the square 8x8 size (.50 after Mega Deal) and 1 of the larger lasagna size ones (1.99 after Mega Deal I think).

What Kroger are you at in Indiana that lets you double that may coupons??

My kroger stores in the area double more than two like coupons. Though the policy is they only double two like coupons. I asked the manager once and he said "well we will take what you have and reserve the right to NOT double more than 2 like coupons. Which they would have to over ride the system to not double in my area. I have three kroger stores that are half hour drive in three directions, so I try to get what I can in one trip to make the driving time count. You did a great job! I haven't gone to Kroger this week. But plan to Wednesday :)

I had a awesome day at Kroger today!! I must say a big thanks to the nice friendly cashiers who does'nt hate couponers it makes a shopping trip alot less complicated. I did 2 different transactions today

I actually messed up on this deals I meant to buy 4 kraft singles and 1 cream cheese but the kiddos was with me and I got side tracked so I did'nt recieve the 5 cat on this transaction

For all this I spent 12.39I saved 87%
