Re: Can you view ads ahead of time? I'm guessing you're in the Central region, like me (I'm also in IL, a couple hours east of you). The grocery stores seem to guard their ads much more closely than the drugstores. I don't think I've ever seen an actual ad scan for our region before Tuesday (2 days before the new sale starts). You can kind of get an idea of what it will be by looking at an ad for a region that starts their sales on Sundays. When I want to get a peek at what's coming up, I look at the ad on Kroger's website for zip code 30033, since we used to live there and I know they start theirs on Sun. If you want to see it before Sun, I think someone who lives in another region usually posts a sneak peek in their own region's forum when they see the ad, so you could check there. Some of the prices do vary, especially on meat, produce, and dairy, but it gives you an idea of what's on sale. And if there's a mega event or something like that, the same items are usually included in both regions. |
