I tried coke zero coupons yesterday (I also had 5 and was planning to use them all)
and they would only let me use one. My coupons said "limit 1 per purchase", so the cashier said that meant I couldn't use 1 for each item. Most likely though, it depends on the cashier. Some really scrutinize the coupons and others hardly look at them.

This is a prime example of a cashier not knowing what a purchase and a transaction are. "1 per purchase" simply means 1 item specified per coupon or 2 items per coupon if its a $/2 coupon. "1 per transaction" means limit 1 per every time you pay. "1 per customer or person" means limit 1 in total. (with this you can come back later in the day or on another day)


Now see it if was me I would have asked for a manager since the cashier clearly didn't understand how a coupon works.
