Printable Coupon Policy

Ok, I'm steamed my airwick printable coupons were denied tonight at Kroger. I just used them for the same deal last weekend.I was informed that they were not to take printable coupons for more than $2 - WHAT????? Come on! This is getting tiring being treated like a criminal! Is there a written policy anywhere? HELP! I would understand it a little better if it came from some weirdo site that I found hidden, but these came from coupons.com. GRRRR!

I ran into the same thing last week! I was trying to use the $3 Planters IPs and got some song & dance about them not taking IPs over $1. The second cashier I talked to said no, that wasn't the case at all. I tried it again the next day and didn't have a problem.

UPDATE: I called corp on this one and was told there is no written policy for printed coupons that is up to the store to make their own policies. I got some song and dance from the store manager's phone call follow up about the previous times it was probably a new cashier. I live in a small town, I know the cashiers and this particular cashier has been there for a long time. I asked if there was a way I could challenge and prove it was a valid coupon - I figure a few times doing that they'd get off my back, but he said it is too easy to duplicate fraudulently for him to check. I'll let it cool for a few weeks and I bet it changes again. I've thought about calling Airwick and telling them businesses are turning down their coupons in hopes of starting a riot but fear has me thinking they may stop the printable coupons all together.

Mine turned down a $0.50 printed coupon a couple days ago. They accepted others a few weeks ago.

i had this happen to me at a kroger that i normally do not go to...they had a email copy they let me read of their coupon policy. i should of kept a copy and didnt but the email came from "corp" i think it came from a regional manager.....but this is what i remember:

unlimited doubles

no free ip's

no ip's over $2.00

we also have no free IPs and then no IP's over $5 (I think). $2 seems unreasonable since many of the air freshener ones are $3-4 and are always printable.
