QUESTION BOGO policy at Kroger?

My Kroger had Loreal Vive Hydra Pro shampoo BOGO. I also had the BOGO coupon from this week's insert. When I checked out, they tried to charge me $2, and the cashier told me it would be fraud on the coupon if she took off any more. I talked to the manager, and he said that it is corporate policy that Kroger BOGO sales are actually 2 for the price of 1, even though they're advertised as BOGO. So, in this case, the shampoo was on sale for BOGO, but it rings up as 2/$3.98. They did eventually give me the rest of the discount, but it was really just to make me happy, not because they felt their sale sign was misleading.

What kind of experiences have you had with BOGOs at your stores?

I have had it work both ways at my stores. I have had it ring 1 up as $0.00 and the other full price but I have also had it ring both items up as 1/2 price.

My store (a Highlander) always rings up as 50% off. I never buy 2 items when it's BOGO becuase they just ring up as 50% off.

our Krogers only ring 50% off. Unless it's a great deal after coupons I don't deal with their bogos.
