What are catilinas?

Okay , I am sure there is a place that tells me lal this stuff, but I am so lost!! I did read the cvs rookie 101. But I don't know what a catalina is. also what is a ROAK?
Where can I get a definition for all the abbreviations?

A catalina is a coupon that comes out of a little machine by the tape register machine. They are called catalinas b/c the company that prints them is called Catalina.

DH calls them "store printed money."

When you make a qualifying purchase, there is a little printer next to the register (or receipt area if using a self-checkout) that prints out coupons. Sometimes the coupons are a standard manufacturer's coupon ($1/2 whatevers, etc) and sometimes they are "off your next order" (Save $3 off your next order compliments of XYZ company). The oyno type are sort of like paper money. The next transaction you have at that store, use this oyno as a coupon/money before you pay.

Is catalina a store coupon? Can I combine Kroger catalina (e.g. 1 off certain item) with manufacturer's coupon?

Catalina's are NOT store coupons, they are Manufacturer's Coupons. They are printed with MANUFACTURER'S COUPON on them.

OYNO Catalina's are NOT Manufacturer's Coupons. They are Manufacturers Incentives/Promotions.
