I'd say so.
Pretty immoral in my humble opinion.
Kohl's gave away $15 gift certificates, to customers on Black Friday. (The $15 gift certificates could be used on certain days the following week). This woman I know bought some toys on Black Friday at deeply discounted prices. They gave her the $15 gift certificate when she checked out. The next week, she went back in, returned the toys for cash, then tried to re-purchase the toys using the $15 gift certificate. (Unfortunately, she found out the price of the toys had gone back up,almost tripled, since Black Friday, so her plan did not work). Was this unethical?
I'd say so.

I agree, it was unethical. Funny thing is she doesn't have the toys now and still has to buy something!

Oh if I could tell you about the unethical things that people do at walmart after black friday...but it just gives people the idea..so I'll refrain.

I have a friend who works at Kohl's. She tells me all the time about the things people try to pull. Since Kohl's has a pretty lax return policy, people will try anything.
I agree that it is unethical. She set out to so wrong and got it back in return. I doubt she will try that one again.
I thought when you return stuff that you earned Kohls cash on that it automatically voids the Kohls cash.
