Went to Kohl's today with my $10/10 to get something for Toys for Tots. As you know everything is always on sale there. Found a couple toys and checked out. I kiddingly said to the gal, "please tell Kohl's to send me another $10. I'm buying for Toys for Tots". She grinned at me and slowly slid the $10/10 back to me. That really made my day. That just about made me cry. I can't believe that she did that. Now I can get some more stuff for the kids that probably won't get anything for Christmas. I couldn't wait to come here and give a store a good post. So tired of the rants and raves kind.

Thats really awesome, one cashier did that for my mom too, but I was afraid that the card wouldnt work again, since they each have their own number, and on the reciept it says balance 0. Have you used it again....That really was a nice treat.

Oh no, I haven't tried it yet but plan to today. I will report back my findings. Fingers, eyes and legs crossed that it works again.

A few weeks ago a cashier gave my Mom back the one she was using. She was able to use it again.

OP, I know they're not as good but can you use the $5 off 5 coupons for the toys? You can get them on Ebay.

It worked without any problems whatsoever. I donated 4 nice toys for under $2. Two retail for $6.99 and 2 for $7.99.
