Does Kohl's Accept Manufacturer's Coupons?... IF SO

Coupons.com currently has a BUNCH of Playskool coupons. Currently kohl's has 40% off playskool toys plus the bonus 15, 20 or 30% scratch offs. Making these coupons a HUGE hot tip IF they will honor them

I totally forgot that Kohl's carries these!!! Hmmmm, not sure if they will accept them though.

Too bad it's a percent off sale, otherwise we could PM at Walmart.

Hi. I used to work at Kohl's and we did accept manufacture coupons. That was like 5 years ago, but if a cashier says no, ask her to call a manager. A Kohl's manager will almost always accept it.
One other thing, are these playskool coupons a dollar off, or a percent off? Kohl's will NOT combine 2 percent off coupons. But a percent off and a dollar off are ok.

They are dollar off coupons some as much as $10! So hopefully Kohl's carries those toys:) Heading out soon will report back later

I know some places are funny about printed coupons and I can't picture a *dep't* store taking them. My nearest is 45 minutes away so I hope someone can try this and let us know!!

I asked the cashier the other day and she said "no". She said they don't send them into the manufacturer. I'd be curious what you find out.

I had no problem redeeming the $3 Gloworm coupon at my store today. I also got 15% off for using my card.

I read elsewhere that someone called corporate and was told its up to the managers discretion.

I consulted customer service prior to checkout and was told to have the cashier call the manager if there was a problem. There wasnt

Sadly my store is the exact opposite. When I checked out the coupons all beeped and she said they couldn't take them (luckily I had a 30% coupon) After reading your post I decided to try my luck and call the store and inquire as the why other shoppers have been able to redeem the same coupons. A manager came on and explained that they take the coupons at a loss b/c they just override the machines and enter in the dollar off amount. (which sounds silly as coupons all state that stores just have to mail them in to be reimbursed) She further stated that she was sorry and that there was nothing that she could do.

Asked the manager at my Kohls today if they would accept manu coupons and explained that their was a toy coupon...and he said yes they will honor them. Right now if you sign up at the registers for Kohls email alerts on the tear pads they are offering a $10 off $10 coupon by email. I wonder if you can use both? I know as it get closer to the holidays these toys go to 60% off and sometimes more with the early bird deals.

And the saga continues.... So I was a bit irritated that everyone else was able to use their coupons in combination with the extra discount. So I emailed Kohls.com directly explained the situation and got a response within 24 hours directly from my store:

"I am sorry for your recent experience with the coupons when you visited our store in Killeen. If you would like to call or come buy the store we would be happy to take your coupon with your 30% off discount, just ask for the Manager on Duty and we will take care of you. Generally our coupons state that we can not combine offers with discounts, so maybe that is what the supervisor you spoke with was referring to, but I will definitely get with them and re-train them on this issue. Again I apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused you and please feel free to call me with any questions or concerns."

Looks like I will be able to use them thereby saving myself an additional $22 bucks on Christmas presents (sit and spin for $4 awesome!!)
