Kmart Clearance: Backpacks at 70% off

I had bought DD a back pack Sunday before last when they were 60% off, but the zipper broke on the 5th day of school (grrrrr) so I went back to return or exchange the broken one. It was a $25 back pack so I had paid $10 for it. The Manager was super nice and even gave me 10% back with an exchange since they were marked 70% off
(Actually he gave me 50 cents back because I bought DS a cute swimsuit for $2 on clearance )

One of the clerks that was taking down the school supplies said they will have all school supplies, including backpacks, marked down to 90% off by next Tuesday. Hope that is true!!! They still had quite a nice selection left and DD is jonesing for a Dora backpack.

I was at my kmart thurs., and they had the starter backpacks for 7.49. Going back this week to see if they are any lower. If not I am still going buy dd the pink camo one for next year. Would have bought it then, but we were in hurry(looking for shoes for dd's dress) and the lines were really long.

They never have enough cashiers open.
