KMART Free Wrigleys Gum AC -beeps though 8/12-8/18/07

Kmart is selling the wrigleys gum for 99 cents. There was a $1 coupon in the sunday paper. So free gum. The coupon beeped for me but the cashier was able to put it through at .99. (I have no idea why some beep and some dont)

YMMV on this - Kmart corporate policy is not to accept or adjust a coupon if it is more than the purchase price - so the cashier may not override it.

The cashier at my KMart was not able to override it but the service desk manager took the coupons and gave me the .99 value for them back in cash.

I had huge problems w/ these at my store.. I'm gonna write corp on it.

Had a mgr. come over and he tried to tell me that coupons can not be used on items that are on sale!! Among other things, he was reading the coupon and tried to say they were one per customer, I corrected him on that one.

I asked if he could manually push it through, and he said "I'll try" and pushed like 3 buttons, didnt even scan the coupon and said no.

As stated, Kmart corporate policy is NOT to adjust coupon values or to take them for amounts higher than the item... so honestly contacting corporate probably will not do you any good if you are looking for them to back you up on the coupon. Now if the manager was rude and condescending and you want to talk to them about that - by all means do. Kmart customer service seems to get worse with every trip there I make.

O.K. - I have 2 coupons for Wrigleys...

B1G1 Free (17ct.) and a $1/1 but it's for the small 10pk in 1 package

.99 sale on 10-pk 5-ct.... but best bet is to use the,m sunday at cvs since they will scan (they are $1 )

Walgreens has the big packs on sale for .59 (w/ in store coupon in weekly & then save another 1.00 when you buy 2 coupon in the ESB (rebate book) so .18 plus tax for 2 big packs and if you use the coupon you could get overages or buy more free gum.
