Double to 99c- today to 6/25

I went yesterday... my first coupon day ever.... hahha... the store did have doubles but my coupon value for schick razors were $4.00 off so the computer wouldnt take it.. but, they were on sale for 4.99 so I got them for 99 cents.... is that a good deal? or should I have waited for them to go on sale cheaper somewhere else?

Honestly, if you don't need the razors right now - I'd wait. Most of us don't pay for razors at all. We can usually get them free at one of the drug stores (Walgreens, CVS, Rite Aid).

The coupons are only doubling if the coupon is .99 or less...so if you have a .75/1 coupon and the product is $1.69, you'd pay .19. If the product is $1.29, you'd pay nothing (or sales tax only).

What is everyones experience with DND5s at K-mart? Are they allowing them to be doubled? I have a few I'm thinking about using tomorrow but I wanna make sure before I plan on using them.

Finally going to make it on the very last day of doubles - wish me luck! We just got a new kitten so I'm hoping for several free cat foods/treats and a few other items I have good <$1 Qs for.

I don't think I used any DND-5s or DND-9s this time, but up until now, both will double automatically. As far as I know, it's still the same.

I went last night, they will double any coupon up to $.99, there is not a amount required to qualify. Got a great deal on on Kool-Aid with the B2G1 free coupon in the July All You magazine. they are 7/1.00 (.14 each/doubled to .28) .72 for 7 packets, I did the deal twice. Also, Charmin flushable wipes were on clearance for $2.49, used P&G .75/1 which doubled to 1.50 making my purchase $1 each.

Thanks for the heads up on this one. The kmart that would be close to me is still about 20 minutes away but if I can find some deals that would be great. I live in CA the land of no doubles . I would love to just be able to go in and for a moment and live in the life of those who get to double. I have told my husband if we ever move out of CA it will be to a state that doubles coupons .

Found some great deals at Kmart, but it was the most pain-in-the-you-know-what checkout of my entire life.

When I got in line I asked to make sure they were doing double coupons, the cashier said yes, so I gave him my phone number to activate the rewards card (I had just registered online the night before). He rang my whole order and began ringing the coupons, and they were doubling as expected, but then for some reason one of them wouldn't ring at all. It was the $1.50/2 Crunch'n Clean Cat Treats coupon, which I knew wouldn't double but still wanted to use because they were on sale for $1.50 each and it was still a pretty good deal. After the first one the other two wouldn't ring, it kept saying I hadn't purchased the items even though I had 6 bags of the treats. An assistant manager came over and did a manual override on the first, but when doing the second one the register completely locked up... I felt like the women on the show, even though I only had about 15 coupons!

The store's general manager came over and re-started the register, took my coupons out of the register and re-rung my order. I asked if she wanted my phone number for my store card and she said she would enter it at the end. She got to my coupons, and at the end when she entered my store card I expected the doubles to be taken off, but they weren't - the price stayed the same. I asked her about it and she said that her store wasn't participating in double coupons and that I must not have read the correct website (I told her I saw it online). I tried to explain to her that the first time - when the card was entered first - that the doubles were working, but she kept telling me that they weren't doing doubles and that I must have been mistaken. I finally convinced her to re-ring it with my card first, and lo and behold it worked. Needless to say, next time Kmart does doubles, I'll be visiting a different location.

In the end, I got some pretty good deals though. I had coupons for B1G1 Whiskas Wet Cat Food Trays, which were only $0.59, so they were all free. My $0.50/1 Potato Buds coupons made them $0.50 a box, and $0.75 WYB Betty Crocker Cake Mix and Frosting got them both for $1.16 (because the mix was $1 and frosting was 3/$5). They also had mini-boxes of Cap'n Crunch, so that was free with the $0.50/1 Cap'n Crunch (they didn't specify a minimum size).
