No K-Mart ads in Sunday papers?

Last week and this week my 2 local papers did not have the K-Mart flyers. Did I miss something here??? Are they not putting flyers in the papers? Could this be the beginning of the end?? I live in NE PA & I got one delivered and 1 from the machine.

Northeast OH received a Kmart store ad (aka: The Kmart weekly circular) in the Sunday newspaper.

In The Plain Dealer (Ohio’s largest newspaper).

I have the store ad in front of me right now.

It is 16 pages and it has a half height / gate / wrap around.

“Get a $10.00* coupon when you spend $30.00 or $5.00* when you spend $20.00 on these great brands.”

* = Offer valued 03/06/2011 thru 04/11/2011.

I believe that you can view your store’s ad online by typing in your zipcode.

One thing to consider is that retailers are taking a second look at distributing store ads in Sunday newspapers since it costs a lot of money.

One thing that Kmart might be doing is not including store ads in Sunday newspapers in certain areas or zipcodes, then, sitting back and see how much impact it has on sales.

I think that is Staples does from time to time.

I have looked at the fliers online before, but sometimes I like to have it in my hands in front of me--old fashioned I guess. : )

Now the last 2 wks we DID get the K-Mart fliers!!!??? R u in Northeast PA? I wonder if there's something up??
