Kmart ~ Question Register Drawer Locked Up?

I went to Kmart yesterday morning to double my 5 coupons...I paid cash and when the cashier typed in $5.00 cash, the register calculated my change but the drawer didn't pop open. The manager had to come over and open the drawer with a special key.

Then, I met my sister at her local Kmart later in the day to walk her through "double coupons" (she is learning...) and the register locked up on her too! Different Kmart, different cashier...isn't that strange?

Did that happen to anyone else?

Yep, happened to me too. All of my items were free with q's, so I only had to pay tax and the drawer wouldn't open. That is odd, must have been a glitch in their system.

The drawer situation is strange, but what I find stranger is that you were actually able to find find 5 Qs for free items!
