Kmart ~ Question: When there is a 2/$7 sale?

Do you have to buy two items or can you just buy one and get it for 3.50. I am curious because the Pantane is on sale for 2/$7 and I have 1 $2 off coupon for a styling product. Doubled it will be free. I know Walgreens makes you buy two or however many to get the sale deal. What is KMART's rule on this?

You do not have to buy 2 of the Pantene items. I had 5 Q's and ended up buying 5 bottles and got them all free - just had to pay the tax of 60 cents. But they all just rang up at $3.50 each.
