Super Doubles on Health and Beauty 7/4-7/10

Well I went today excited to get some diabetic supplies. I had picked up some BD alcohol wipes & lancets qs at the pharmacy at KMart a few months back. They did not double, but my Hall's qs doubled. When I went to CS they denied there were doubles til I showed her on my receipt. I said I did not understand how diabetic supplies were not health related. The store manager told me alcohol wipes were not health because they could be used for anything & lancets were medical, not health. WHAT?????? I will be emailing KMart & the manager is checking into it as well. Not a satisfying shop & it is too hot out to go back & get my other 3 items today since I returned those. I am frustrated.

Health and medical are not the same thing...there is a difference. HOWEVER, since lancets (and alcohol preps for that matter) are sold OTC, they should be included. The only reason I am thinking they are not included is that they are "medical" in nature and can be reimbursed by insurance. Insurance will pay for diabetic testing supplies, but not something like Tums, Fleets Enemas, etc (which are "health").

Went to my store yesterday & was underwhelmed. All I got was a bottle of Pantene conditioner & a box of Puffs with lotion. Paid $1.50 total.
