Kmart has a new rewards card program called: Shop Your Way Rewards

It is a free program.

You can sign up online through Kmart's website or in the store at the register.

Shop Your Way RewardsSM has always made shopping a more rewarding experience. And now, it's even better with 10 points or more for every qualified $1 spent on the items you need and want. And they're Your points—how you redeem them is Your Choice.

Earn 10 points or more for every qualified $1 you spend
Earn and redeem points in store and online
Receive exclusive weekly bonus offers so your points will pile up fast
Present your card, email or phone number to earn points
Earn your way to VIP status
Redeem points for everyday items or save up for something special (can accumulate for up to one year)
Return items without a receipt

An FYI : I went online and checked my account and they DO deduct rewards for coupons. So for example I earned $.04 for the All I bought @ $4, but since I used the $2 coupon and it doubled they subtracted $.04 :sad:. I am assuming this will affect rewards like 'earn $3 wyb $15 in cosmetics. It will most need to be $15 after coupons to get the $3. Keep this in mind because you will not necessarily be able to 'roll' rewards using coupons to keep your OOP down.

Now knowing this I plan to continue to accumulate my rewards until Christmas for gifts unless I find a deal that would make sense to use them otherwise.

I forgot my rewards card in the car so I thought I'd just give them my phone #. The register wouldn't let the cashier enter my # so I told them I'd just take care of it at home. I've looked at the website and can't find a way to do it. I emailed Kmart but they just sent me the link to the website.

Anyone know how to enter your receipt online?

I had a similar problem the other day - the field on their screen to type in the phone number just would not accept any typing at all. They had to keep trying and eventually it did work, but it was frustrating to say the least! I am not 100% but I do not believe there is a way to enter receipts on line at this time. You may need to call their customer service line.

Thanks for your prompt reply! Yep, what you described is exactly what happened to me. I should've gone to CS at the store but I was tired and in a hurry and figured it was easier to do it at home.

has anyone accumulated any amount of points worth anything?? Thinking about signing up,but it sounds too hard to earn anything.

I've already used over $20 in reward points for other stuff. Everything is eligible for points even stuff from the Auto Center (my husband and I both needed new tires), Sears At Home so had we gotten our furnace through Sears we would have gotten points through that. Protection agreements so when you renew them that's more points.
