Re: KMART: $10 off $20 Printable Coupon! (Approved)
I suggest we all email KMart help@customerservice.kmart.com and file formal complaints that they should honor their printable coupons even if they made an error. The coupon I have says at all Kmart locations.

Re: KMART: $10 off $20 Printable Coupon! (Approved)
Honestly, it might be better to take this matter up with a governing agency rather than kmart.
It seems to me from reading what has gone on in the last two days that kmart did this as a publicity stunt.
-They put on their facebook page that the coupon was fraudulently put on their website. If that was true that would mean their website was hacked, their website which also takes lots of customers information and credit card numbers. If their website was indeed hacked they would have also put out a press release indicating whether the security breach affected peoples personal data. They did not do this, which is a clear hole in the current cover story they are choosing to tell the public.
-They are choosing to honor this coupon in select stores, and from what I have seen they have started pulling the coupon from those stores as well. Why would kmart take a coupon made by hackers and allow it to be used at all?
-Kmart has also been reported as saying it was pulled due to improper distribution. Sources are saying the coupon was meant to be limited; however, there is no real way for anyone to limit a pdf coupon.
-Kmart has instructed front end staff that this coupon was obtained fraudulently. Kmarts facebook page is currently flooded with lots of first hand reports of kmart employees threatening to call the cops on people who try to use the coupon. In many cases customers were embarrassed into making their purchase without using the coupon.
-All of this is coming at quarter end, that alone means nothing, but desperate publicity stunts prior to quarterly profit reporting is very fishy.
-This isn't the first time kmart has "mistakenly" put out pdf coupons only to quickly retract them.
What really sucks... is that they had to do this right before doubles. I mean honestly... after the way kmart has been treating customers during this makes me rethink giving them my coupon business. Not sure what to do...

So has anyone else filed a complaint with the BBB for bait and switch? I am thinking about it. This is the second time in less than 6 months for the Kmart/Sears company to do this.... It seems pretty intentional to me. Especially since they do offer coupons.com coupons on their website. They know how to limit prints and offer only to specific areas.

That makes me not want to shop at that store! They want to get people in there and get a bunch of stuff, then check out and when their coupon gets rejected they're hoping they don't want to go through the hassle of buying the stuff elsewhere and the person just gets it anyway. It's ridiculous. I never liked that store anyway, but for $10/$20, I was willing to make an exeption.
