Haven't gotten my card yet...but from what I understand you can use your phone number if you don't have your card with you and you give it before you check out.

When I won that thing I gave my card in the middle of the transaction.

(Which is a total pet peeve of mine. I was standing there with it and she didn't take it before she started ringing things through. I hate that! It's card first, then my groceries >.< )

Just got one yesterday.This will be good for next year school clothes shopping.Looking to the future because school shopping is the only time I shop Kmarts unless they are having doubles.

In my area was the test market for their card (previously it was a K-ching card) during the testing period I racked up $17 in reward points and they sent me a gift card with the award amount on it when they transferred out of the test period over to the full program. Since then I have gotten almost another $10 in rewards. But I've yet to see an actual card after the transfer, they keep telling me they sent it to me back in Nov. So who knows. Now where I live there is no Kmart, so I guess it'll be while before I use those rewards.

I thought this thing was a waste at first... I won a couple matchbox cars, a bag of cough drops, and a trial size deodorant. Whoopie right?? Well I went to Kmart today and bought an outfit for DS, and on the bottom of my reciept it says I have $25 something in rewards!!! I'm shocked, not sure what I bought, but I'll take it. :)

So do the cashiers ask for it first or do you have to present it to them cause I'm betting I'll forget if they don't ask...I don't go there often at all.

Everytime I use my card, they scan it at the end. Don't forget that it can be used at Sears. You don't have to have the card with you to use it either. Just tell them that you have a rewards card and give them your phone number. I signed up online on the Sears website and it took about two months to get it in the mail. I have only been using it a few months and I already have over $30 on it. I am saving it up for next years school clothes too. Every once in a while they have specials where you can get more rewards for purchasing certain things. Like last month, with the clearance clothing. I got a bunch of rewards from that. I also bought some clearanced DS games last week and got several rewards from that. I think it is well worth it. I mean, it is free money. To use the rewards, just give the rewards card to the cashier as payment. They scan it and it comes off the card. You just pay the difference. The cashiers hardly ever ask for it, so just remember to hand it over.
