I have used three coupons on the spud buds, sit n spins and the dynosaurs
My coworkers ahve also done this TODAY and it took all THREE

I'm not sure the attitude I'm seeing in your post is necessary, but you are correct - the way the system rings free items, it will take the third coupon. The free item is rung in and then deducted on a separate line so for the sake of the coupon, the product is there. Or at least that has been my experience at the store I shop at.

The "attitude" comes from people commenting on deals they have NOT personally done and possibly detering others from getting a GREAT deal!

I would not have posted this if I hadn't done it myself and KNOW it will work....might be a good strategy for others!

I understand your position, however many situations are a YMMV - and Kmart is well known for its YMMV situations. Also, just because something works, does not always make it right. Like I posted, your situation worked because of how the system rings the free item, however I still don't understand the attitude??? Why couldn't you have just simply said 'I worked for me - I checked my receipt and this is how it rang up, and so on....' ?? If you were looking to get your point across and assure folks that the deal is legit, there are much nicer ways to do it...

Theres not an attitude.I did the deal and my kmarts would only take 2 of the coupons.:hectic1:It was a store manager that did my transaction.I am glad your kmarts took 3 coupons.
