Kmart ~ Question: So with no doubles how long....

i stopped in last summer- but i don't remember buying anything.

except for doubles, i haven't been there in 5 or 6 years.

it's a mile from my house. i park near there when i go to cvs. but i don't go in.

Let's see the last super doubles was in March or April for my local Kmart store. That's the last time I was there and I won't be there unless they have doubles again. Too high prices and a very unfriendly staff.

I went and used my free candy cats on Halloween clearance candy. I think it was November 8th or something like that. I got 12 bags of candy and spent about 45 cents on the tax. I won't be going back any time soon. Halloween candy was 90% off everywhere else and only 50% off at Kmart and overpriced there to begin with...wouldn't have bought a thing if the cats hadn't made it free.

I went in last week because one of our's is closing down. ;x Everything is clearanced 10-20%. Even with coupons, that is STILL way too expensive! I bought a pizza cutter which I desperately needed and cat treats (.88 for two Friskies Seasations treats which my cats just go nuts over.) I have no plans to go in there again unless they start 50% off stuff lol

Back in June...before we moved to middle of nowhere Kansas...I stocked up like crazy during doubles time. I knew where we were moving it would actually be worse than Kmart prices...and I was right.

I actually put on a X-mas layaway there since Walmart stopped their layaway, so I have to stop in every couple of weeks to pay on it. I think the worst thing Walmart did was take away their layaway. I really don't care for walmart anymore either, would rather shop at Giant Eagle. Double coupons, just about the same prices at Walmart, most of the time cheaper with double coupons.

I put a trampoline on layaway for my kids, so I have to stop in every 2
weeks too. I also check to see if they have any good tearpads or blinkies! Besides that not very often at all.

Yup, this was what I did too. Haven't been back since. At mine they were out of Halloween so I had to get some free Christmas candy. Didn't cost me a cent.

We use their pharmacy (the staff is wonderful) so I was there 2 weeks ago. They also have the best price on BD alcohol wipes. I feel badly because they are relatively nice in my store. But I never feel like their stock rotates unless they have SDs & then there are the outrageous prices. That said, my SD stockpile is practically used up.

I like there clearance better than walmart clearance I will admit. I swear walmart clearance jacks the price up now down.

They have fabulous toddler shoes...real leather...not walmart crap...but we live too far away from one now.
