The stores in my area aren't on the list either, it's new to our stores, so worth a trip to see if yours is now participating.

There are no Ohio stores on that list but I was offered a card yesterday here in Toledo, OH. Definitely check your local store.

Looking at the website for the new card, the program was rolled out yesterday. I'd hazard a guess that the card is available to all K-Marts now, but there's no way of knowing until you walk in. This says nothing on whether they're doubling coupons though.

I knew there was a reason I should have asked my DH to leave me the car today!

I called the very coupon friendly KM about an hour away (12804 zip) and asked if they were doubling this week. The CSM said "Nope. Not for the rest of the year."

BUT - Now with the confusion over the cards and what not, I'm wondering if I should drive all that way, just to check.

Any guesses as to if the card means you can automatically double at stores which regularly do not?:shrug7:

I signed up on the kmart website a long time ago, even though no stores in my area were on the list, so I was suprised to be able to use it yesterday. I did use coupons and none of them doubled for me.

I emailed kmart and this is what they said:
Dear Valued Customer,

Thank you for contacting Kmart regarding the Kmart Double Coupon Event.
We appreciate your interest in this promotion. At this time there are
no future double coupon events planned, per Kmart Marketing. You may
contact your local store for further assistance. We apologize for any
frustration this may have caused you.

Really? I got my card in store yesterday. Signing up was like signing up for a Kroger card. Just name, address, e-mail. Did you do it online? They were really pushing it in my store yesterday; asking every person who went through the line.
