Kmart ~ Vent: What would you do if the register kept freezing?

Last doubles (Aug) I was in Kmart on the last day they doubled and the doubling ended at midnight. I wanted to do 2 Trans. (this was a SuperK, limit 25 coupons) and the register froze. They had to restart it twice, then moved me to a diff register where it froze 4 more times and 4 more restarts. Finally I was rung up on a 3rd register. This took over an hour! I was patient and the cashiers were apologetic. But because it took so long I missed out on my 2nd Trans (it was past midnight). I lost out on a bunch of free stuff!
I got over it but today the same thing happened...register froze and I had to wait for someone to restart it! Grr! It wouldn't have been so bad but I had called my mom to come pick me up and she was outside waiting. Everytime the register freezes it takes 10 mins for it to restart. Really I would have thought since I waited an hour for it to restart 6 times they could have given me a GC or something for my trouble. I wasn't going to bother about it but when it happened again today it got me thinking. What would you do?

I did have this happen to me and the cashier restarted but moved me to another register and gave me a cat that popped out when the computer shut down. I figured it was normal. I can't believe they made you stand there.

I would have asked them to move you.
