well i havent purchased coupons for this event but i definately have some left over from the last one (not stocked well in the first place!) that will most likely not be used...
My local Kmarts have minimal stock. They haven't restocked much since being cleaned out on the last event. Being that this may be the last doubles for a very long time I want to make sure to take full advantage. I purchased coupons during the last event for this event and I'm finding that there is hardly anything left to use the coupons on. Now I'm scrambling to find new deals and match up the coupons in the last few papers to new deals. It's driving me crazy. I already had a game plan and now most of it's gone down the drain...
Anyone else purchase coupons for things not yet restocked?

I don't find this problem with my Kmart. But it is Kmart, so I don't have very high expectations for them.
I have a bunch of protein bar coupons for ones that they apparently aren't going to carry anymore! My super k was completely redone overnight during the last doubles and they removed the shelf tag for those bars. I went to a different one that had just enough bars for me to do 3 coupons but I know there won't be anymore coming.
The kmarts didn't even restock the sodas and that one is odd since it's a distributor who stocks them, not the stores.
I have a feeling I'll be doing a lot of store hopping this week. I'd better gas up the car!
I would hope they would be stocked, but since it was only a week in between the last doubles, I highly doubt they will be stocked, but I am hoping. Going to a couple of different K-marts with my SIL to see how they are stocked.
I had this issue too! I was really disappointed because during the last doubles they had restocked pretty well. I might try the one a little north of me to see how it is, but I'm afraid I'm going to be stuck with a bunch of coupons.
I didn't purchase any coupons, but had a stack I have been holding onto to use this time around because every time I would go to purchase last time, everything was out, specifically the Ponds cleansing wipes and Vaseline Aloe lotion.
My closest store had everything restocked a couple days ago, including the items above. I was there at opening and was the first person down that aisle (both items are within about 6 feet of eachother). The lotion was gone. The shelf the aloe lotion sits on is one of the lower ones so I had to bend down to see to the back. As I was standing back up, I get greeted every so abruptly in the back by the cart of the lady who grabbed the ponds. No apology. She just wizzed past me and scooped them all up. I was totally thinking to myself how unimportant it was to her that she just smacked into me. Sorry to derail.... Anyway, back on point. Yes, my store had restocked. Though, with the lotion being gone when it was there 2 days ago, I'm thinking the staff probably put some aside for themselves and/or other customers had been in to move it some place else.
Anyway, I was pleased to go to a second store (one I've never been to at opening the first day of doubles) to find everything I wanted, Aloe lotion, ponds, more varities of Visine, Travel size Renu, etc. etc. I was a happy camper! So I'm pretty sure that this store restocked as well between each event.

I'm jealous of you that have gotten doubles near you for the last few months. My nearest Kmart has not had a double event since March.
I had sanity once upon a time I promise. It was just so long agoooo that I can't remember it
.
It's what you get for taking the easy way out and looking for loopholes in the ad (4 item vs 4 coupon limit) rather than doing the hard work of walking the aisles like I did last Tuesday and focusing on the items that they have in stock and will be there on Sunday. But, I forgot, you veterans know everything...
Calm down. Did you forget your morning anti-rude pill?
I love how you assume I haven't walked the aisles. How do you think I knew that things weren't in stock? I just magically figured it out without doing leg work?
How do you figure it's a loophole? It's an understanding of the wording in an ad.
