QUESTION KMart: overage?

I'm wondering if anyone has had luck getting overage on coupons? I found a huge section of Bic Soleil razors on clearance for $2.50, and there are those $3/1 q's from the paper. . . If I use these, what will happen? Will they allow overage toward other things? Will they mark them down? Will they refuse them? Is it more of YMMV?

I am just curious what people's experience is on this. I very rarely shop at KMart, so it's been a LOOOONG time since I used coupons there (our stores don't super-double)

TIA!

I had one Kmart pay me back 7.48, but other than that the others do not. I think it's up to the store, and the cashier.

here's what i would do... figure out what you think the overage will be, and bring an item or items up to the register with you. if you see the coupons are giving 3.00 off then ask them to add the items on.... itsa a win win... dont just have them add them until u know tho.... usually its just whatever the register accepts... if the coupon beeps tho youll most likely just get 2.50 but hey its kmart! LOL

My Kmart always gives overage, except of course during the doubles event.

awesome- thanks all. I have 12 q's and there were probably 25 of these, so I'm headed back first thing in the am. Hopefully they're still there!!

I bought these same items and the system gave me $.50 overage for each coupon. I tried to tell the cashier in case she might get in trouble but she said she didn't care. :shrug7:

Have any of you actually tried the Soleil razors? Honestly I think they are some of the worst razors ever. I bought a bunch when there was a good deal at Walgreens, but both my dd and I decided they are awful. We get more nicks and cuts and razor burn from them than anything I have ever used. I will use them to shave my underarms (for some reason, I don't have problems using them there) but won't let them anywhere near my legs.

Still, the deal at Kmart is tempting in terms of getting an item to donate to the local womens shelter... *IF* anyone else out there thinks they're OK. I mean, I don't want to donate something that everyone universally hates using. But if some people find they're just fine for their skin, well then maybe they're worth picking up? I have to go by Kmart anyway b/c I still have some catalinas from the P&G and Unilever deals which need to be used before they expire. I figured I could pick up razors if they'd be of use to someone.

So, what's the verdict? Are they worth picking up to donate or will I just be causing pain and suffering to the people I'm trying to help out?

Yes, I hate them, but my way more sensitive sister loves them. So I traded mine to her for her quattros, which she hates but I love.

I also found them to be horrible! I felt like I was shaving for the first time because my legs were all cut up! However, in having a discussion with my brother one day I discovered that they're what he uses to shave his face so I gave them to him. He was thrilled to have them. He has sensitive skin as another post mentioned, and he loves them!

I bought these today and used the $6 overage to buy toilet paper. :) As far as how good the razors are- I haven't actually tried them, but I needed the toilet paper, so I'll probably donate or sell them at a yard sale. Oh, and I bought 12 of thase at $2.50/ea and 1 Charmin at $7/ea and it also printed out $5/$50 Health/beauty purchase and a $5/$50 grocery/drug purchase coupons.
