Kmart ~ Question Kmart-Using Multiple coupons

Drove 40 minutes away from home to take advantage of Kmarts double q's up to $2 yesterday only to be told I could Not use most of my q's. I was told that I could not use a B1G1 q with $2 off q (i can & have in other stores). I was trying to purchase 1 Pantene shampoo & 1 conditioner (had 2-$2 off coupons for those) and 1 Pantene Styler (coupon for Buy 1 shamp & 1 cond. get styler free). CSR would not take the B1G1 coupon. She and the manager said that is using two coupons for the same item and cant do it. Has anyone came across this with Kmart? Can anyone explain it to me if the store is right because in my view the B1G1 coupon is not being used on the shampoo it is being used on the styler. I thought about writing to their corporate office but want to make sure I am not wrong before I do.:shrug7:

They also would not let me use my manufacturer q's and the store tearpad q's.
I don't normally shop Kmart and not sure that I will again. I have only been couponing for a few months now and thought I was getting the hang of it, but I keep getting into situations where they tell me I cant use them for some reason or another. I hope to get lots of useful information from this site and all the experienced couponers. Thanks

Kmart's computers are set up to attach to all items related to the B1G1 coupons. Kisnd of a bummer really. Although, some cashiers have pushed mine through (only on 2 different q's at 2 different stores). But I couldn't use the pantene styler q yesterday either.

I didn't have a problem yesterday using a manufacturers q with the store q. I did all the store qs first, and then the manu qs. They work just fine without any beeps.
