    QUESTION Kmart - Double Coupons (7/5-11) Clarification

    Ok, so I've looked thru the threads & didn't see anything on this so I'm posing a question;

    I read that it's limit 10 coupons per customer per day, limit of 4 coupons for same item AND that the coupons are AFTER you have spent $25 in certain areas. My questions are:

    1) Are they really limiting customers to 10 coupons & 4 on same item? (In past they didn't even tho the rules said so)

    and my big question & most important to me is:

    2) If I buy $25 worth of product to qualify, can I use coupons for those products?

    Answers to these questions will determine if a trip to K-mart is even worth my time. Thanks everyone!

    Yes, they are limiting customers to 10 items and 4 on same item. (computers are programmed)

    My ad did not state anything about needing a $25 minimum order.

    And yes, you CAN use coupons on the items, which double up to $2 (for a max of $4 off).

    HTH!

    btw, I found it was worth my time just because it's the ONLY store in my area to ever offer doubles...even if the limit's ow, it's one of the few times I can really get a lot of freebies or very low OOP...

    When I walked in to Kmart yesterday, the service desk lady asked if I was doing doubles, and when I said yes, she mentioned the $25 requirement for HBA/pantry to do it. I asked if that was before or after coupons, and she said she didn't know!

    Stupid me, I didn't ask about whether the limit had changed--I looked in the ad and didn't see anything, so I spent two hours in the store, only to find out at the checkout at the limit of 10 coupons. NOT worth my time/gas at all, as the store on my side of town is closing, and I have to go all the way over to the other side of town to do this. I was ticked!!

    In my K-mart flyer on the front pg in really small print under the Dbl Coup statement, it reads "With purchase of $25 or more in grocery & drugstore merchandise. see page 2 for details." However, on pg 2 it does not mention that particular requirement. Pg 2 goes on to state the coupon limits.

    my store was sticking to the $25 purchase requirements (before coupons) - it was posted on the front door. that does include all baby items though.

    I just got back from a K-mart run. The cashiers were telling me that shampoo, deodorant and body was did not qualify as a 'drug' or grocery items. I had Depends in my cart too, so that ended the discussion and put me over the limit for doubles.

    The cashier wasn't rude- just confused.

    I would have to agree with them on the shampoo, deo, & body wash--I would say that they are HBA, not drug items.

    They had a sign on the check out counter that the limit was a $25 in "grocery or drug items" rather than HBA.
