Total before coupons = $51.03 After Coupons $6.05+ tax including $5 off $50 coupon. You will qualify for the $14 Catalina = $8 ish net profit

Okay I know Im a math geek but here is a list to help you guys with your scenerios.

$50 get $14 back is basically the same as saving 28% on each item
when your total is exactly $50 - 28% = $36 A $14 SAVINGS

So one way to see what is a good deal after coupons and cat is to take your item
Say $10 -28% = 7.20 - 2/1 doubled ($4) = 3.20
Now this isnt perfect because you most likely wont get to exactly $50 and once you go over your % is gonna go down a tad.

BUT its a good start to figure which items are worthwhile...

40 ct 1.99 - 1/1 = 0 oop = .55 money maker with cat
Tub Wipes @ 2.79 -1/1 = .79 oop = Free after cat
Tub Wipes @ 2.79 -.75/1 =1.29 oop = .50 after cat

It's not in the current ad it's been running for over a month and was advertised back in June but you will see signage ( in my stores anyway) in each relevant department. The end date is 7/13

Okay, I guess I'm a math geek too. Just wanted to make sure everyone knows that the pre-Q total has to be $50.01 to get the $14 cat.
$50.00 will get the lower value cat.
(Not that any combination will bring you to exactly $50.00 anyway )

Well Ive did this deal a zillion times and didnt know that BUT like ya said its rare that you would get to exactly $50 anyway BUT Very very very good to know so thank ya for adding that!
