K-Mart-No "free" coupons during doubles!!!

This is the newest asinine comment the cashier said to me today! I had 3 random coupons for free items, gum, halls and purina. she told me that they were just told yesterday not to take them during doubles events!! I was not going to let that one go since I just used a couple the other day. She got a supervisor and she had never heard of it. the cashier said it was because some of them were doubling automatically. The supervisor put them in, the purina was for up to $3.26, the halls were $1.99, and the gum was $1.19. Sup. said that they did not double and it was fine. Cashier then made her second stupid comment, "so they will still double if they are $2 or less" Both the Sup. and I both kind of looked at her.

So then I had 2 Kraft dressings a package of steak, and 2 dressing Q's and the $2 meat wyb kraft Q. She would not take it because I already used Q's on the dressing. (we all know this song and dance!) I said, not the $2 Qis on the meat, the dressing Q's are for the dressing. She stomped off to check, but I have a feeling she never did because she was back WAY too quickly. Had her take all those items off.

So what's the best email or phone # to complain to Kamrt to?

I had this happen the very first time I did doubles at Kmart last year. I had won an instant win sweepstakes for 7 free Pringles coupons. I tried to use 2 and they wouldn't let me because they said it would double. It was a KMART coupon as well, even had their logo on all of them. I just had DH redeem those coupons a few weeks ago because they were about to expire and they only had the extreme flavors, like extreme jalapeno.

It seems stupid, because they can override a coupon to make the register take it, so why can't they override a coupon that doubles so they can subtract it?? Do people rule computers or do computers rule them?

I have now been trying to 2 days to get someone to help me with these issues. I have been contacting them through email since I work at night and sleep during the day. They keep asking me for my phone number to call me and for tracking purposes. I have explained to them why they cannot contact me by phone and they keep giving me the same scripted response, not even addressing my issues. I don't think anyone is even reading anything!!!
