Went to Kmart today to ask about the ad first girl at customer service tells me that they are only doubling up to 75 cents then I asked her to make sure She finds out it is doubles up to 2.00 as usual, got 89.00 of stuff for 15 Had 8 dollars of things in there i had to get like a pizza 4.99 oyster crackers 1.69 and a loaf of bread 1.00 so worked out really good will post picture later

The chocolate was 99 cents for 2 bags and 2 bags were free after coupon in sundays paper 5/4, for some reason the mint ones were less if I would have know I would have gotton all mint ones
Called today to see if they accept internet coupons and they do , asked if they double them and he said yes up to 75 cents I said no 2.00 I was just in there yesterday, he said something like oh yeah 2.00. Wow incredible

Went today and here's what i got for $10.50 OOP and was informed that our next "doubles" is on June 7, 2009 (for St. Louis)

I'm quite upset - my Kmart is NOT doubling at all - let alone doubling to 75 cents. I'm so upset, as I spent ions pulling coupons yesterday to get ready for the sale... and they aren't doing it. I knew I should have called before I started pulling coupons, but why wouldn't they do it? I didn't get an answer to that one.

4 Glade carpet deodorizers
4 renuzit sprays
4 cans of Oust air sanitizer
2 Vaseline lotions
1 pack of dentek floss picks

Total $6.91

The cashier did not know that the ad was a misprint and neither did the shift manager. Both of them tried to convince me that it was doubles only up to .75.
Not only that, the cashier did not understand the fine print on the ad. It clearly stated 1 coupon per item purchased, up to 4 of the same coupon (something like that). She thought that I could only use 1 coupon for the entire order!
I explained it to her a thousand times and I asked her what was confusing about it? I have 4 items and each item has a coupon. She then went on to say that she had to ring each item up as a single transaction. What!
I told her, you aren't making any sense. She said that she could get in trouble if she did not do it that way. So she called the shift manager to ring everything up. It literally took me 20 minutes to get checked out. This was the second Kmart with under trained employees that I have shopped at. I need to find a new Kmart.

Has anyone had an experience similar to this? I just would like to know if it is the Kmarts that I particularly shop at or is this across the board.

I have nothing but problems at the kmart in my town. I didn't even bother with them this time. Last time I bothered to go there the cashier actually started yelling about the coupon making the item free...
I gave up and I go to the two in the next city over. They were awesome today. Signs out and ready stating $2.00 doubles- smiling cashiers who were just as excited at my totals as I was.
