I had the $1.00/1 coke 12 pack and the free nestea when you buy coke. So I went to use them and the girl couldnt get them to scan even though I did the same deal the night before. I had 6 coke and 6 nestea and I was planning on using $1.00/1 coke and the free nestea and she told me no I couldnt do that. I need to buy six additional coke and not use the $1.00 off coupons to get the free Nestea. Did I do it wrong the previous night? She said the reason all my coke coupons wouldnt scan was because of the nestea ones but she tried to scan the coke coupons before the nestea and they wouldnt take but all the nestea ones did. I hope this makes sense.

You were doing it correctly, don't worry. She probably thought you were double-dipping on the coupons, but you weren't. You had 2 seperate coupons for 2 seperate items. I'm not sure why your Coke Q's weren't working, but she should have forced the Q or called a manager over to do it.

I've had some trouble in Kmart before using coupons like these..buy this item and get this item free. I just don't think they are used to alot of people using coupons just yet, so therefore most cashiers don't "get it".

If they still say that I'm wrong in trying to use both Q's, I simply ask them to take the items off my bill and I'll just use them somewhere else.
