My experience with Kmart is that they do not let you use 2 coupons of any sort on the same item. I know at my store you cannot use a man q with a store q, and I believe it is because it's corporate policy.
OK...I am almost certain that this question has already been answered...SOMEWHERE in this forum...but I can't find it! lol
So, I decided to just ask here! My time is limited....so I'm hopin one of you fine ladies (or gents) will help me out!
OK....Ya know those $40 KMart booklets?
At the top, the coupons all read :
KMART SAVINGS COUPON | EXPIRES 2/2/09 | DO NOT DOUBLE
And the coupon codes all start with a "4"...indicating that they are all "store" coupons and will NOT double.
OK...that part "I get"...lol.
My silly question is....
Can I combine these Kmart coupons with Manufacturer coupons that will double?
---------------------------------------
EXAMPLE :
$18.00 - (9) Ragu Sketti Sauce (yum!)
-$8.00 - (4) $2/2 Ragu *KMart booklet* coupons
$10.00
-$6.00 - (3) $1/3 Ragu *Manufacturer* coupons (doubled)
$4.00 - TOTAL for (9) Ragu
---------------------------------------
I'm thinkin this is a No Brainer ....and I can combine them...
And my hubby says I think too much...lol.
But, it's KMart....
And I haven't always had the bestest coupon experiences there.
So, has anyone tested this?
Combined the coupons?
Any issues?
Fire alarms go off?
Blue Light go haywire?
Manager lose his toopaaay from venting steam?
Or do they go through fine....without a hitch?
I appreciate anyone & everyone who will help me out here!
Thanks in advance!

Thanks for your reply.
I don't shop at department stores much....so I'm not sure about policies related to combining store coupons with manufactured coupons.
I am used to grocery stores and pharmacies (without mentioning store names...lol) where we *can* combine store coupons with manufactured coupons.....so I guess I was thinking (or hoping...lol) the same rules applied at KMart.
My hubby & I went today and each did transactions (oh joy! he was thrilled! NOT!! lol)...
Combined, we spent $31.19 and saved $345.01....BUT, they over-charged us on the Velveeta....so I have to go back tomorrow and get reimbursed.
(Advertised at $3.00 per 1-lb. loaf and they rang up at $3.50)
I tried to have them verify it....but they didn't have ONE single ad in the store! (The Dec. 30-Feb. 2nd ad...pg. 27...lol)
And the Nabisco Toasted Chips are supposed to be on sale 2 for $5.00....but were ringing up at full price ($3.59)....*i-yi-yi*
I tried to have the manager look online to see the ad (cuz that's where I saw the ad)...but he couldn't find it. He was on the phone with the service desk lady who I was speaking with.
I knew I wasn't losin my mind...lol....but didn't want to take it out on them...they aren't to blame.
So, I left the Chips there and went about my bizzness.
BUT - when I got home, I double-checked after dinner....and sure enough, my marbles are still in tact! The ad shows the sales that I was referring to.
So I called KMart and the lady told me to print that page & bring it in before 5pm tomorrow...cuz she will be on duty. I will get reimbursed the overage on the 8 Velveeta and be able to get the Toasted Chips at the advertised price.
So, I thought....since I'm going back...I may as well plan out another shopping trip!
I was really hoping that someone tried actually using the store coupons with manufactured coupons....
And I was really hoping to be able to get 9 jars of Ragu for $4.00....that's a real steal for my area! And Ragu is my fav!
But oh well....savings is savings....but since I still have a fairly good stock of Hunts sketti sauce...I guess I will pass on the Ragu.
Thanks again for your reply!

I didn't even think to read the back of the dern coupons! Durr @ me!
I read the KMart coupons....
...."Cannot be combined with any other coupon for the same
item(s) and is not subject to doubling"...
There's my answer!
They can't be combined.
Juz thought "I'd" point out my OBVIOUS blonde moment before someone else did. lol

I successfully used the K-mart Pledge coupon with manu. coupons today. (I wasn't aware that it was against any store policy.) Also it was a careful coupon watching front end supervisor who checked me out and there was no beepage. HTH

A couple months back there were kmart q for glade (like the febreeze) and man q's and I had no prob :) Try it! If not Walgreens is the place to go for Ragu, hope there is one in your area?
A note on the velveeta--- it's ringing up @ $3.50 because on page 23 of the big monthly ad it's listed in tiny print as 2/$7... then 4 pages later a bigger picture says 2/$6. My store refused to charge me the $3/loaf price even though it was RIGHT THERE :(
